First air transport services for Lusitano horses in commercial flight directly from Oporto to Mexico

Nippon Express Portugal through its department Flying Horses, performed on the 26th of February, the first operation of sending horses to Mexico, by air in commercial flight, directly from Portugal.
So far, this operation was done with a transport by road to a European city (Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt) and the resulting fatigue that has for animals overnight and then the flight to Mexico City.
We managed to so time traffic record a capital gain and a lower cost to the importer receiving the animals with better vitality.
The operation was a success. KLM was present with two European consultants to ensure full efficiency of maneuvers charging horses, being demonstrated high professionalism and excellent coordination with providers handling from Oporto airport: Groundforce.
The Flying Horses was created with the purpose of serving this and other destinations with innovative solutions that help to promote the exporting of our breed Lusitano horses.
